How do I invite someone to collaborate on a video with me?

Want to collaborate with someone to create a video? Invite them with a collaboration link.

Whether you are working on a team project or just want to invite someone to make changes to your video, collaborating in Squigl is easy.

There are two ways to send someone a link to collaborate:

  1. From a finalized project
  2. From a draft project

Note:  Collaborators need to have a Squigl account.

Sending an invitation from a finalized project

  • From the Dashboard, select the finalized video you wish to collaborate on.
  • From the Project View page, open the Tools Menu
  • Select Collaborate
  • In the "Collaborate with Others" dialog box, enter the email address of the person to send an invitation to.  Select Save Member.
  • Add additional collaborators, if desired.
  • When finished, click Save.

Collaborate from Finalized

In a few minutes, the person will receive an email with a link to open the video.  Once they follow the link from their email, the video will appear in their sharing dashboard from the left-hand navigation bar.

Sending an invitation from a draft project

  • From the Dashboard, select the video you wish to collaborate on.
